so i have a 2000 four winns horizon 190 with a first or second generation Roswell tower. the back to bars that go down to the boat have a connection in them to be able to take the tower apart as you drop it down. i have had to re-weld a portion of this joint 2-3 times now due from breaking. now the male to female piece is cracking through not just the weld itself. i've been trying to find some kind of coupler that i could put over the entire joint to brace it and keep the bar straight right there. i can't find anything like what i need out there. if this makes sense does anyone have any idea where i could find something like this? my other thought but way more work is to cut the joint out and put a piece of pipe inside the pipe and re-weld together. or get the joint straight and just weld it solid. i like the coupler idea as it's a quicker fix and the tower could still be broke down.
i added a picture of a quick "dirty" model i made to explain what I'm looking to either have built or preferably purchase. maybe some think rubber inside to squish over the welds and allow a tight fight throughout. the middle connection is obviously connected together with a flush bolt so the bolt would not be in the way. I've also drawn in where the crack is happening and i assume it has made it close to the center hole for the bolt. I've yet to take it apart fearing i will make it worse.

any ideas?
thanks all!
