I just purchased a 1983 FourWinns 22' cuddy. This is my first boat and my first boat project. So far this is what I know.
5.7 OMC engine
Stinger 800 outdrive
Not sure if this boat is Santara or Horizon (leaning toward Santara)
The boat starts (after changing the starter) but does not shut off. (The wiring is cobbled together everywhere so I will be rewiring the whole boat.)
She's leaking fresh engine oil into the bilge while running. (rear seal?)
Most of the guages do not work.

Considering the guy I bought the boat from sold it to me for pennies because he thought the engine was gone I'm in good shape but I definitely have my work cut out.

Nice to meet everyone, I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions and I'll help out where I can. I don't have much boat experience but I know a little about engines and electrical systems.
