Hi Guys, I stumbled on a closeout 2012 H220. I was leaning toward a different boat at the dealership but the sales staff kept slashing the price on the 220. By the time I left the store I felt like it was an amazing deal. Total cost $37,300 well equipped with a 5.7 300. I understand that the 220 hasnt been redesigned in a while and I am starting to wonder if that is the reason for the deal. I guess I am wondering if the newly designed Horizons offer that much more as far as comfort, ride and options over the 2012 H220. Thanks!

A good deal is a good deal, not that much changes in boat design anyway, most of the changes seen are in exterior design and styling and that's all subjective anyway. So enjoy the new boat and congrats, thats a very good price for a new boat that size with that engine option.

Sounds like a hell of a deal to me...assumin and not a g you were looking at a bowrider and that is what you want for your use. It happens to be perfect for us. Nice boat, comfortable, but even though its a 22 footer the open bow isn't for big water.

If me I would tint windows and see if dealer would add a tower at cost to close deal.

A deal is a deal. As long as you can get the extended 5 year volvo penta warranty who cares. DO NOT purchase without it.

thanks guys! I ended up buying the boat and managed to work in some warranty and delivery. I am very excited. I am new to boating and only researched brands that had been recommended to me ie. Chaparral and Searay. But after the deal was presented, I did some homework and love the reputation FW has. I get the boat Sunday and it will be cruising Lake Cumberland on Monday :)

Very Good Deal. Nice.

What was the MSRP? >$45k I would assume?

$51,500 (but that seems inflated) is what was shown to me. The more I read about FW the more I like the decision.

I was thinking may as high as $50k....so, I'd say $51,500 is in the ballpark of MSRP. The real question is, what was the dealer trying to sell the boat for when they first got it in inventory. Probably a little less than MSRP....maybe $48 or $49.

You did get a good deal. I know of comparable boats on the used market that the owners are trying to get $32-35k for.
