Post subject:  water proofing covers

double posting for more traffic...can delete if it causes too much heartburn.

I treated my bow and cockpit covers last week according to the instructions othe bottle, wandered over othe deluge today and was hoping it would be beading off like a newly waxed car :).... And while some of it was other parts were not. For the record it looked about the same as all the other boats there too.

Did I do it wrong, is that normal, or something else....not a huge deal just curious

Looks ok to me, you will always get little pools in places where the fabric is not really tight. Looks just like my 4 winns cover.

+1 My cover looks exactly the same, I get the same pooling on the port side also, I started placing the bow cushions on the sides and it has helped stop that from happening
