I was in the process of replacing the bilge pump and noticed an electrical connector with a single cable hanging from it going nowhere. Looks like the other end of the connector is in helm area because the bilge connector is also coming from that same pipe. Could someone shine some light on what its meant for? I recently purchased the boat (my first) and still in the learning and replacing part process :)

I can not see the pics. But, most boat builders will wire 99% of the boat with all the option. So the make one cable/wiring harness. As they build the boat, they may not install all of the options depending on how the dealer ordered it. You could be looking at the wiring to an option you don't have.

Look at the courtesy light on the front of the engine compartment. It could be the one that powers it.
Put a volt meter on it and start flipping switches to see if one of them puts power to it.
