Hi Deafwish if you are out there. Have you any idea the weight of your Danfoss Anchor that fits under the front seat. I've just had to part company with mine, got it stuck in a really fast current and had to cut it. On the internet there seems to be 4.5, 7 and 10kg. I would guess it is the 10 but I didn't want to get one that is too big for the special place where it lives. P.S Like the new trailer. Nezzo |

My RS was imported with a 9lb sand anchor & it doesn't fit in the front locker (too large). I keep a rubber mat in my under-floor ski locker & keep the anchor/ chain in there... The new trailer's great, thanks! ![]() |

Yes I found one the net that gave the measurements of each anchor. My original guess of 10kg would have held a trawler. The correct one was a 4.5kg Danforth Anchor which fits perfectly into the fittings in the front locker. The supplier suggested I would need 18ft of chain (the length of the boat), to go with it but I took a risk on 3 meters. |
