Ok. Here is a random question for you all. What do you use in your boats for a trash can? We have had this rubber-maid type container, probably about a 2 gallon size, that the lid snaps shut on for years. It holds a plastic grocery bag just right. It is getting really ugly and I can't seem to find anything like it.
Open for suggestions!

Many of the boats on this forum have a built-in can. It would be a real pain not to have that.

We tie a trashbag on the lifter of the head door. Lift the lid and the bag is right there. Out of the wind and out of the way. Open the top hatch for trash, open the side door for empty cans.

I use the built in trash can on the corion top next to the sink for storing sun screen and personal items like watches, wallets, coozie cups, ect. I use plastic bags for trash storage that I keep in the ski locker. My lake has trash bags available for free at the ranger station and launch ramp.

Why do you need a trash can? Just throw everything overboard!

My model has no built in either....guess that's for some of the bigger boats. I have a plastic box I line with a garbage bag and it fits under one of the rear seats. If I wasn't afraid I would cut a hole in ski locker lid and place garbage in there.

My buddy who has a Horizon does essentially the same thing. I believe he uses a plastic "milk crate" under one of the rear seats.

We don't have a built in either. We found a pop-up trashcan that is nylon so it takes little space when not in use. Just open, line with a trash bag, use.

When it gets nasty, throw it away and spend another 5 bucks.

Cabelas sells waterproof bags with clips. These things are great. On the way to the lake, we stop and get ice. I throw it in the bag. at the launch, it goes in the boat. On the water I put the ice in the cooler and then use the bag for garbage. It clips to anything, and is waterproof. Just wash it off after and your all set for next time. Also great for carrying the ice in the hotel when we travel.
