Post subject:  Bunk Width on a boat lift?

Hey, I bought a slip/lift at the lake for my boat. It has a pontoon and a bowrider bunk set installed. The previous owner had a pontoon.

The bowrider bunks are adjustable but I'm not sure what width to use for my boat. '05 Horizon 210.

Anyone happen to have a similar model and lift that could tell me the width? Could I base it off the bunk width on my trailer.

Thanks in advance. Probably a long shot but thought this would be a good place to ask.

Should be safe using the dimensions on your trailer as a guide.

If your trailer has 4 bunks, and the lift only has 2, I would think you would use the width of the "inner" bunks. The bow should center-up by itself, but you still might want to add side bunks at the stern.

My stock trailer bunks were 2x4's but I changed them and lengthened them to 2x6's. If I were buying a lift I'd use the same.

Our lift has 2x10 banks and 26" a part at the top... it is angled at 75dgrees....
