Can anyone tell me what vinyl Four Winns used in 1999? I have a blue and white interior in my 220 and there are some cracks in the sunpad that are driving me crazy. I would like to replace the vinyl there and also build some bow filler cushions while I'm ordering the material. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Skert

The vinyl used in 1999 was horrible. It's not made anymore thank God. Redo it with Omnova nautolex. Best you can buy. 5 year warranty and they pay to replace it with labor if it fades, cracks, whatever. Use goretex thread. Why? It's impervious to any cleaner. You could clean the vinyl weekly with bleach to make it look new for 10 years with zero side effects. All new boats are using it.

Ric, the 1999/2000 vinyl was not horrible. Mine still looks like new, and my passengers are amazed at the condition and comfort of the vinyl in my 13 year old boat. Of course it has been well cared for.

Unfortunately, I cannot answer the OP's question regarding the original manufacturer of the vinyl. I did look up the Omnova Nautolex, and see similar colors. This company has a set of color samples for $3.75 that you can order:

+1 on the Gortex thread. I specify that on my boat covers / Biminis also.

No but you're working with 1999 technology. Much has changed in vinyl. It doesn't stain, easy to clean, rated for longer hours of UV exposure, etc.
