me a few friends decided to buy a boat summer of 2011, 2 years after high school. we found a boat on craigslist and came to find out, my good friend owned the boat before this guy and even knows the original owner. talk about full history!

anyways, bought it figuring it would need a motor due to milky oil. we tried headgaskets and after a new dist pickup. got it running and after the first test resulted in a dead battery due to not hooking up the charge back, and the second test resulted in a blown motor (cracked block) thus began the full revival....came into this knowing nothing about boats or boat interiors. we went with a new chevy 350 (cam, intake) and redid the whole interior. got some pics of most of the work and she has been pretty good for a total investment around $2750! currently chasing down a lack of fuel to the carb issue that leaves us stranded sometimes and sometimes wont start again! heres some pics!

its been a long journey. but a fulfilling one! bought a parts boat today. $100 for another 84 190 horizon. better trailer, swim platform and nice gauges and such.

motor is a .30 over 4 bolt main. has dished pistons, cam is a summit-racing .488 lift hydraulic with an edelbrock performer intake and a holly marine 650 carb

looked into my fuel delivery issue. would run fine on an auxiliary carry on tank. took apart the pickup tube assembly and found some major gunk!

had it out today. 44mph gps verified. not wanting anymore speed. hits plane in less than a second
