I just picked up my new 220H about 30 minutes ago. As soon as the kids get out of school, we're headed to the lake. I've been catching up on this forum for the past week and it just solidified my decision in going with Four Winns. I was looking at Regal and Sea Ray too, but the dealer and Four Winns history made my decision. I look forward to being a part of the Four Winns family.

can't wait to see some pics of the boat.
This is a great site. I am new to boating also. I have had my boat for a year and have many questions answered through this site.
I was looking at many boats before purchasing my Four Winns and i am glad i did, no regrets what so ever.

I can't figure out how to post a picture. I'm not too swift with a computer other than general use. If someone can direct, I can follow instructions pretty well. Thanks!

Congrats and welcome. You're going to love that thing- I'm still in love with mine after almost 3 months and almost 40 hours. Posting pics: first rule is that the pic has to exist on a web server somewhere-you can't just link to it if it is on your hard drive. One easy thing to do is to go open a free photobucket account, and upload the pics off of your hard drive onto the photobucket webserver. Then, you can link to your photobucket page here in the forum like this:

http://www.photobucket.com

If you can't post a pic, at least give us the juicy details: motor, drive, color, options, etc.

PM me if you want more help on the posting of pics.

Hopefully the connection will work. I got a 2007 model with the MerCruiser 350 MPI/Bravo 1 300hp. I like the side exhausts (which my wife calls my "redneck button"). Let me know if the picture connection doesn't open. I can't wait to get out on the water again.

Sweet. Outside of the Captain's Call Exhaust, outdrive, and the color/graphics scheme, we have the same boat. Let me know if you have any questions about stuff on it. I have one question for you: Have you heard a clanging or "gonging" kind of sound out of your ski arch and/or bimini top when you hit waves hard?

My brother bought a boat just like ours-his has it pretty badly. Mine only has it every so often. He took his into the dealer and they said all the mounts were tight and everything. I'm not convinced that it isn't the bimini. I'm interested to hear what your experience has been.

Where do you boat?

I've only had the boat out once and didn't notice that type of noise. I will listen for it this week. Thanks for the offer on helping me with questions I have. I'm sure I'll be needing some help. I read your post on the 2 batteries and that was one question I had. Thanks for the info.

Well, if you have that noise, you won't miss it. Sounds kinda like someone hitting the tower/bimini with a hammer. First time I heard it, I thought it was the bimini's pole clanging against the tower.

Sounds like you're pretty well prepared. If you haven't already done so, read as many of the Horizon posts as you can. Like you, I learned a lot in a short amount of time about our boats right here.

I'm gonna update that battery post, but I'll tell you this now: if you turn those batteries' switch to "Off" you will lose your radio presets.

This is a great place to ask questions and get help figuring things out.

Hope you have great weather to get out again this weekend.
