First out im totally green. I never owned anything bigger than a 17' canoe. I live on a lake and fortunately I have a very experienced neighbor who has been teaching me how to drive\trailer\mannors etc.

I have a 2002 Horizon 180 Fish and Ski. Im crawling all over this boat trying to learn what is what and how they relate to each other. I came across a few pieces above the drain I have no idea what they are for. One im thinking is for the live well. the other I have no idea.

I also found a round sensor on the bottom of the hull which looks like a depth sensor but I don't have a depth gauge on the dash.

Any help for a noob :)

The top one (white ring with black rubber disk) is a scupper. The rubber flap in the middle can swing out but not in. It is to let water out, and resist water from coming back in. They can be used for a self draining deck, but a little one like that is probably a drain from a storage compartment, or the well in front of the outboard engine.

The middle one (white knob) looks like a removable drain for a live bait-well or something.

Do you have the VDO gauges (the automotive style)? If so, you may have a depth gauge that shares the digital display with the clock. Press the Set and Mode buttons together for a couple seconds to switch between clock mode and depth mode.

Thanks for the help. I was able to get the remaining questions answered this weekend.
They are for the Live Well under the port rear seat. the Scupper on top and the middle one was the strainer for the live well filler.

The traducer is for the fish finder. I originally thought it was in the trolling motor since the reading were way off. Turns out it had been out of the water so long that it trapped air on\in the transducer (or something like that got that hint from hummingbird) causing inaccurate readings. It was good by Sunday.
