I am taking delivery on a 2001 Horizon 280 with a 7.4gsi DP tomorrow. The boat's homeport will be Holland, MI.
First projects include a through detailing and seleting a new name. I am a lifelong sailor going to the "dark side"!

I grew up with sailboats as my grandpa retired to a lake in the Irish Hills area of Michigan (Lake Columbia) in Brooklyn. I am sure he looks down every summer weekend and just shakes his head at me as he HATED those damn noisy ski boats. It is still a great family activity though and we love it (and love not sitting in the middle of the lake with no wind).

That 280 sounds nice! Welcome to the Dark Side!
