Does anyone have pictures of a bow walk-thru door installed on a 2000 or similar model Horizon 230? Mine didn't come with one but I'd like to either purchase one or build one. Not sure how it would mount at the base of the windshield with the starbord storage door in the way. Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks, Erik |

![]() I don't have a picture of my walk-through door on my Horizon 240, but this picture shows the mounting provisions: - Drop in hinges (black) on the port side. - Plastic Blocks (white) on the starboard side. The walk-through door is made out of 1/2" starboard, two pieces hinged in the middle. There is a latch that locks the two pieces straight to each other (and therefore locked into the plastic blocks. The door is about the same height as the bottom of the windshield, and is mounted about an inch in front of the windshield. |

Thanks for the picture. Is that a factory installed option on your boat or was it something you made? The problem on my 230 is the starboard storage door is right where your white blocks are. That door is centered right where the base of the windshield is and the obvious location of where the door needs to be installed. Not sure how I'll work around that at this point. Erik |

Erik Mine was factory installed, as far as I know. Given your configuration, I would suggest putting the wind break door ahead of the storage door. It should still perform it's wind-break function pretty well, even if it's way in front of the windshield. Ray |
