I'm new to this forum and to Four Winns! Just bought from a buddy who's dad was the first owner of a 1989 Horizon 180. Has a newly rebuilt engine with new exhaust and heads. Excited to get my family out on it next weekend. Have been a boat owner my entire life, just my first runabout however. Mainly I am a sailor but my wife wanted a family boat so who am I to say no! Good looking boat. Will post pics as soon as I can. See ya! Sailor |

Welcome to the FW family. What did you sail? I had a 23' 1974 MacGregor Venture when I was stationed in Connecticut and spent some time on it between Groton and Fisher's Island. |

Welcome to the forum. After a lifetime of sailing, I made the same switch you did. Now going fast has a entirely new set of parameters. Grandkids love the boat! I still sail but not near as often. Another sailor Horizon 280 7.4GSi/DP |

I sail big boats - J/105, J/35, Farr 40, TP 52, etc. Took the boat out twice already. Seems to have an oil leak somewhere, that's my project for the next couple of months. |
