First time out this spring. Just a quick blast on the choppy waters out from St Kilda Marina. Good water down from Williamstown Altona way.
We were bringing the boat in and saw your boat at the Marina Daz. Was going to say hello but you were in deep conversation with some others.
Less wind next week please.

I used the bathrooms at the Marina & walked over to your boat (when that SeaDoo guy was berthing), but also didn't say g'day!
Should make an effort next time to do a trip somewhere!

Hey guys, I live on the Mornington Peninsula and also use the bay regularly.
FYI: It was the windiest October for 25 years.......no wonder we were all frustrated.

Australia Day....

Couldn't have had a better day on the bay. We were between Rosebud and Mornington (for lunch). Never seen as many and varied Four Winns models in one day. Wind came up after 4:00pm but great before that.

I live at Mt Martha and normally launch at either Mornington or Martha Cove.
Trying to sell my current boat at the moment so that I can move into a H220. If you know anyone wanting a as new condition Raeline 186C with a 220Hp 4.3MPI, let me know.

You live in a good part of the world.
The H220 would be a perfect boat for the bay. Good choice.
We spend a lot of time in that area. I've never seen Martha Cove as busy as Australia Day. Always thought they were crazy making the parking area that size. Good to see many new houses under construction.

Yeah, not a bad spot to live & work.
Thanks for the advice re: the H220. As soon as I sell my boat I will be desperately looking.
Martha Cove has been busy and as you said. Its good to see a bit of movement. I have a building company and build solely on the peninsula. We built a large home in the Marina.
Had a meeting recently with one of the planners from the body corporate. She mentioned that there were 195 submissions for new homes prior to Christmas.

May see you out on the bay.

Going to be another beautiful day in our part of the world and a great day for boating.
I will be spending most of it on our Raeline 186C before the new owners pick it up tomorrow.

Have been desperately looking for a H220, but there aren't any around at the moment

Hopefully something will pop up so that I don't miss out on all this perfect boating weather.

Got the new vessel out yesterday
Rides quieter & smoother than expected however, it tends to drop off the plane at around 3000 revs. Is this normal??

Loved the extra room and storage on the boat compared to my previous boat.

Very happy. Here is a photo taken at Mornington Pier.......

I would say that is not normal to lose plane at 3000 rpm. I'm probably running 28-30 mph at 3000 rpm. If you have the 5.7, then prob even a little quicker. Should have no problem holding plane at that speed I would think.
