Post subject: | H240 v H220 |
Hi all, still hunting for another boat, having sold mine a couple of weeks ago. Although I haven't considered the H240, there have been a few really good ones for sale lately. My query is.......is the 240 much heavier than the 220, and is there any other major difference between the two?? Cheers, Craig |

Feature-wise, the main differences between the H220 and H240 are the addition of a head compartment and an above-board sink (sometimes called refreshment center) - but can vary a bit by model year. So the H240 is stretched a couple of feet to add those features. Seating, and just about everything else remains very much the same. |

The H240 basically fits the same number of people, but adds the Head and More Storage room. (as well as the ride advantage of being 2' longer). I think both are 8'6" wide. There is also a lot of difference in weight over the years. My 2000 H240 is about 3950# (with engine and battery, but no fuel or water), where the newer ones are about 4-500# heavier. But all of that is available on the Four Winns website. |
