Just purchased my first bowrider, a FW 2008 Horizon H200. Equipped with Volvo 5.0, 220 hp. Boat has 114 hours on it. Purchased for $19k. Boat is very clean and appears lightly used. I'd like to know if you FW enthusiasts think this was a good deal/buy? Secondly, what specifically or uniquely should I know about owning this boat? Wasn't able to test drive the boat before buying, but I have a 30 day "dealers warranty" after I get it on the water. Anything I should pay special attention to those first few rides? Beautiful boat. I have the 26 year old version of the same model. When you test drive it, check for proper water temp (160-175), oil pressure (20-60). volts (13.5). It should reach the max rpm listened by Volvo (4600-4800 or Volvo's spec). Check for proper shifting fwd, neutral and rev. Cone clutch should be very smooth. |

Where ya boat at? As far as your purchase: - Was it from a boat dealer? - Is there maintenance records with the boat? How was it maintained? Engine/drive oil every year, bellows checked, drive serviced, etc? 19k is a good price for an 08'. |

Just picked the boat up yesterday from a dealer in Indy. Boat looks awesome! First time I got to hear it run and get that 5.0 rev'd up. Sounds great! If you can't tell, I'm excited to get it on the water! |
