I'm looking in to trading my 358 vista for a h310 but can find one set up with the motor package I want with a gen and air for my kids. What all is needed for a gen. What r my options |

What r my options The only option is to buy one with it installed from the factory. Four Winns is more than capable of building the boat of your dreams to your specifications people have done it here on this site, but they don't take trade-ins. Your best option is to sell your 358 with a broker (you'll make more money too) and once you have the cash, contact Four Winns and have them custom build you your dream vessel. |

Are you looking at brandnew, or a used one? I found the genny and AC option on the FW site: http://fourwinns.com/details/H310 |

You can add the genset after, figure around 13k installed. OR If you have access to shore power constantly, just build a 6v battery bank. In the space needed for a genset you can have six 6v 220ah cells for a total power reserve of around 12v 400 amp hours of usable power on an inverter. What will run my A/C (i don't know the specs of the one on the H310) for 6 hours NON STOP. A/C's don't run non-stop. They run about 15-20 minutes per hour, so you're looking at around 24 hours of A/C time. Total cost you're looking at around 2k installed including labor if you pay someone (including pure sine inverter, 50-70ah charger, batteries, wiring, auto transfer switch, remote battery switch). Silent power. Just flip a switch in the cabin to turn on battery bank to the inverter, whammo... you now have 120v power and A/C. On my boat I have 140ah of usable power. I get roughly 6-8hrs of A/C use. Good for overnight with no noise. I do have a backup Honda EU2000i generator if needed. It can charge my battery bank in 3-4 hours while running the A/C. |

The optional A/C in the H310 is listed as only 3500 BTU. |

Thank you for all the responses. I was looking new but seeing a boat drop from 175,000 down to 70,000 in a mater of 4 or 5 years doesn't sound like a good time lol. So I thought I would look around the 08 used. But one of my favorite features in my boat is digital throttles And that narrows down the options. I didn't know if running a small rv style gen would work for now since I only need it during the kids nap |
