Okay so I just bought a 1998 horizon rs (first boat) with the famous vdo dash, anything I have searched about this is pretty dated. I have only been able to find one photo about this issue. I'm going to call cdi electronics but first I want to see if I can do the fix myself . My issue with the vdo is my feul gauge seems to have a mind of its own and the alarm is very very anoying!! Any help or pictures on this would be awsome
Thanks guys

Another thing I noticed while driving is that I get a fair bit of water spray at the rear passenger seat and engine cover more so then the driver side rear seat. Any ideas on this?

Finally when I punch my hull # Into Four winns site this is what comes - HRS-A98-Z00
Can anybody tell me about this. What dose the A and the Z00 stand for. Thanks

I'm new to all of this so any help would be much appreciated

As far as the dash goes, well... the best fix is to replace it with standard gauges. Basic wiring and craftsmanship skills needed. Nothing difficult.

Are you correctly trimming the motor up while on plane?

Yes I believe my trim is good just thought it was odd it is only happening on the passenger side next time I'm out I'll see if trim adjustment fixes my issue. Thanks

All the sensors should work with Faria gauges.
