Hey guys i want to install a 12v plug somewhere near the dash just curious on what other people have done Pictures or ideas would be great

The fuse panel is right under the dash. You can put one anywhere and it will wire direct.

I have just put it under the "blower switch" (lower right side of the wheel).

I will take a photo next time I am out but I am installing this: Blue Sea Systems 12 Volt Dash Socket

Will be on the left side of the helm, kind of like in this location (not my boat):

I installed a triple outlet unit under the dash within reach so I could plug in cell phones, air pumps for water toys, etc. Worked great. Wire it to the fuse or cb panel with an appropriate circuit protection. We all seem to bring more cell phones, I-pads, and computers aboard these days.

Check "Walt's Mod's"... I've got one at the dock for the head unit, a triple under the helm, then 2 singles at the bench seat for inflatables and pass's cell phones. Oh, and then I have a 400w inverter under the dash too. not big for most of you cuddy guys, but plenty for a day on the water.
