Should I leave my drive up on the trailer? Up or down while parked at the house ?

Down and the outdrive straight. That leaves the bellows in a neutral position
Just my 2cents worth

Last thing I do religiously prior to putting her cover on, is lower the leg. A must do habit......

Cheers, Craig

I leave mine full up so I can easily inspect the drive/prop after each outing, as I have with all of my boats. Had the 5 yr inspection last season and no indication of cracks on the bellows. I could tow mine almost all the way down though, so do as you please.

If you are not moving it for a while it is better to put it down. In the winter I take the drive off of mine so its always down so to speak. The thing with the bellows is that it is very hard to see any cracks because the exhaust bellows is right up against the bottom of the ujoint bellows. The Cobra/Volvo SX bellows has an extra rib on the side that faces down, to allow for this. There are 6 ribs on the top section and 7 on the bottom.

I store mine in the down position as well.

Thanks for the replies. I guess once I get it home from the lake I'll drop it for the week.

The only time mine is up is when going up or down the ramp....or when towing, otherwise it's always down.
