As winter and the end of boating season approaches, this is the time of year that most boaters are pulling thier boats out, winterizing, making changes, etc... So what does everyone have on their "to-do" list during the off season? What changes and/or improvements does everyone have on their list of "must haves?" Stereos? Engine work? Moving/adding/changing batteries? (just ideas). |

Boat buckles. Possibly changing out more of the boat's lights for LED's. Considering a power winch, but not sure I'm ready for that yet. |

Changes: It will not be getting wet until April or May 2008. Improvements: Use it more next year. |

BTW, I posted those pics of the transom switch; not sure if you saw them or not. I've already changed the trailer to LED's, and the helm. I'm thinking of changing the navigation light, anchor light, and interior courtesy lights. |

Adding a bimini top for next year. For the trailer, I'd like to replace the hubs/bearings with new and maybe the lights with LEDs. First I have to tackle the projects around the house that I neglected while boating. |

Redesign of boat house / Lift so we can put a boat with tower or arch inside and lift it. We might want install one to our boat especially if our little one wants to start wake boarding. However, he is only 8 years old so we still have a time left… |

Thinkng of some speaker upgrades, and possibly a subwoofer install. I am also thinking about adding a "priority start" unit to the battery. Has anyone ever had any experience with these? http://www.prioritystart.com/ps_marine.html |

I am installing a 1000W power inverter now so I can plug a few tools and goodies. The most importantly I can plug my lap top so I can access this forum while I am on the water….. |

I acquired all of the items on my off season modifications list last fall: Second battery, Blue Sea Systems Add a Battery isolator and switch. Amp, two more speakers, subwoofer. Second Bilge pump. On board dual battery charger. I am still looking for a chance to do the installs. ![]() It'd help if the boat wasn't stored 200 miles away. |

if you are into skiing and wakeboarding then the tower is a great addition. Mine came as a factory option with an attached bimini top (Four Winns called it something like Wakeboard Tower delux) but it is worth the cost for my kids, nieces and nephews. |
