for the life of me I've tried over and over to find a zert on my outdrive to grease the gimble and cannot find one. is it closed off and not have the option the grease? |

Post up a pic of the right hand side of your transom mount. That's it is supposed to be... |

On the right side of your transom mount, about 1" aft of the transom, and about 1/2 way up/down should be a zerk fitting. If you have a recess there with no zerk fitting, then it must have broke off or fallen out. ![]() |

Thanks Guys, I'll take a look at it tonight and see what i have. I think i recall seeing that spot with a cap over it. guessing if that is the case it's "sealed for life". I'm a fairly decent shade tree mechanic so figured I could find it and it wouldn't be this tuff! Thanks again! |
