not a DOG house.. a FULL beam sun pad aka sun deck whack ever way you choose to call it.. the bench seat layouts not the dog house split seats. |

Mine had something similar to these, an aluminum single wrap hinge, its a little confusing when you look at it but the end of the sunpad fits in the right angle section, and the hinges wind up near the top edge of the sunpad...I had 2 old ones that I repaired with some aluminum angle stock and alu rivets, and added a pair of these 6" single wrap hinges to hold it more securely. As heavy as that sun pad is (3/4" plywood, about 6' wide and 4' long) I'd use 4 of these hinges and through bolt it. http://www.wolfsmarine.com/6-in-Single- ... 3537.aspx# |

That is the same as my interior. But to be honest, I don't know exactly what type of hinges I have. I can look and let you know. |

I think it'll be easier to figure out what you need, if you post up a pic of the area on the transom that the hinges will attach to. I bet you'll find something that will work on that site I linked to above. On mine, the old alu hinges cracked in the middle, not all the way through though. I patched them with alu angle stock that made them strong enough, but then started looking for new ones to supplement those and that's what I found. The sun pad on my H-200 is really heavy, so 4 hinges are more or less required. It is surprising, now much bigger inside the older boats are. I'm shocked at how much wasted space you see in the new models. |

Long SS piano hinges are a hell of a lot better than those little 1" wide hinges FW uses on their new boats. The weight of that platform will eventually rip them right out of the boat. |

OK that is a different set up for sure, you need some kind of a flush hinge, but one bigger and stronger than a typical cabinet or small door hinge..... http://www.wolfsmarine.com/Large-Gate-S ... C953.aspx# |
