Post subject:  Engine Alarm Horn Location

Just noticed that my engine is not beeping anymore when I turn the ignition key. Could someone tell me where exactly the engine alarm horn is located? Also, is there a fuse I can change out? I have a 99 VP 5.0Gi PWTR

Thanks in advance!

On my 1999 and 2004 boats, it was cable tied to the wiring harness at the helm.

I thought the engine area also had an alarm horn..?

On my 2000 4.3GL it's on the starboard side towards the rear of the engine (if you're in the boat looking at the engine).

It might not be a problem with the alarm. When my boat was about 3 years old, the wire to the oil pressure sender had detached; all I had to do was push the connector back onto the sender and it worked.
