After trying to get this VDO out the front, I finally pulled the trigger and cut fiberglass out of the back of cowl. Cut about 6x8 inch piece out. Slid right out after that. Not get it repaired by CDI

Mine is the wrap around. Last check no more replacements. Unless you get lucky and find a dealer that has one. FW told me last month they are working on finding a new vender to produce these again. Ill get the VDO repaired and hope it lasts awhile.

Try Dave at A&A Marine 231-723-8308. I bought the NLA Four Winns replacement cluster from him a couple months ago. They have a supplier in Canada that puts them together.

Sent VDO to CDI for repair. About $400.00 when all said and done. Now just waiting for phone call saying it has been repaired.

Got VDO back and when I took it out of the box, the ground wire that they soldered to mother board fell on the ground. VERY poor solder job. Now have to call them Monday and send it back. NOT HAPPY!

Yep definatnly a four winns part, you can tell by the crappy crimp on wire terminals that are not weatherproof. Corrosion city!!

Talked to CDI this am. They are paying for all shipping and were sorry for the poor solder job. Now I just hope when I get it back and installed, it works. Already ran new ground wire from engine block. Now wait again.
