Hey guys, Having trouble with the trim on my FourWinns Horizon 190. We have followed all the standard procedures and we are getting power one second but not the next. Anyone have any ideas what we should check? Thanks in advance |

Start with a multi meter at the trim pump. and check the voltage when the switch is flipped. |

This may sound silly, but open the dog house (motor cover) and look for the two rubber couplers and make sure the connection is tight, I had this happen to me, . It would work , then quit, then work again.. the waves made it a loose connection. Best of luck.. oh ya mine was on the left side of the motor. I pluged mine back in and put a hose clamp on it to prevent it from happening again. |

If it's an SX-A powered boat the trim motor is outside the hull, and they had a recall and corrode. I had to have mine replaced on my 2009 Stingray under warranty. |

Hey guys, thanks for all the responses, appreciate it! The boat is a 2004, engine is SX-M. The mechanic, whom I am translating here says the drive is "newer than a 290" |
