I have a 07' 200 Horizon. My trim has been going out. I would check the relay's, they're clicking. I would tap the trim pump (it's on the outside) a few times and would start working again. It would work for a little while, then stop working. Tap the pump a few times, then starting working again. Now it's not working again and I can't get it to start working again. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? Can't be a fuze, if it sometimes works again?

Thanks

If you are tapping the pump to get it to work, that will usually not work very long. That is a common trick with fuel pumps on cars. It will only get you by so long. It sounds like the pump has failed to me.

This may sound silly, but open the dog house (motor cover) and look for the two rubber couplers and make sure the connection is tight, I had this happen to me, . It would work , then quit, then work again.. the waves made it a loose connection. Best of luck.. oh ya mine was on the left side of the motor. I pluged mine back in and put a hose clamp on it to prevent it from happening again.

How old is your battery? This was happening to me and I tried everything except replacing the trim motor. My battery then died and after I replaced it all my trim problems went away.
