I have a 07' 200 Horizon. My trim has been going out. I would check the relay's, they're clicking. I would tap the trim pump (it's on the outside) a few times and would start working again. It would work for a little while, then stop working. Tap the pump a few times, then starting working again. Now it's not working again and I can't get it to start working again. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? Can't be a fuze, if it sometimes works again? Thanks |

If you are tapping the pump to get it to work, that will usually not work very long. That is a common trick with fuel pumps on cars. It will only get you by so long. It sounds like the pump has failed to me. |

This may sound silly, but open the dog house (motor cover) and look for the two rubber couplers and make sure the connection is tight, I had this happen to me, . It would work , then quit, then work again.. the waves made it a loose connection. Best of luck.. oh ya mine was on the left side of the motor. I pluged mine back in and put a hose clamp on it to prevent it from happening again. |

How old is your battery? This was happening to me and I tried everything except replacing the trim motor. My battery then died and after I replaced it all my trim problems went away. |
