I have a 2005 Horizon with a 2014 350 MPI. This year the boat started smoking white smoke a little. No change in oil levels so far. I have brought it to the Mercruiser dealer where it is under warranty and they did have an answer. They said if it is not burning oil that it is fine and if the oil levels drops then to contact them. The boat runs great. Any other suggestions? |

Are you certain it wasn't steam from the water cooled exhaust? If it's not, does it smoke during an initial start, while cruising or when hot? |

Can we assume this is raw water cooled? |

White smoke is usually coolant or water. Blue smoke is usually from oil burning. Black raw fuel. Correct if this is wrong. I wouldn't stand for anything of under warranty, bug them and bug them. |
