I have just purchased my first boat, a 1997 200 Horizon. So far I have really enjoyed it. I would love to know if they make a bolster seat for the Captains chair. Any additional info that anyone can provide on this boat would be great. Like I said I'm new to boating not just this boat. Thanks |

Save from buying a new seat with a bolster (and a second if you want the seats to match), the only option I've found is this: http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?pdesc=Bolster-Buddy-Cushion-Small&i=873010 I just got one a couple of weeks ago and it works pretty well. I wish it was a tiny bit firmer but overall I'm glad I got it. |

Much cheaper than $60, plus you should have a couple on board at all times anyway. ![]() |

A captains chair can be outfitted with a longer aluminum tube for more height. Back to back seating can be raised up permanently by rebuilding the support box. It's not a small job, but in my previous boat I rebuilt the support box 7" taller, and put a door in the side so I could use that space for storage. |

You can look up past year catalogs, look for parts and get owners manuals here: http://www.fourwinns.com/customer-service.aspx |

yea I am looking for a used bolster seat as well, my knee gets worn out on mine.....like everything else new seats are expensive. If I do find one used, to the bolster seats use the same base as the non bolster? |

I havent thought of getting a longer tube. That would be the best option probably. |
