We all don’t want this to happen but it occurred to me that perhaps my boat might not have much built in floatation. Being an avid canoeist this was always a concern. Does anybody know of a rating site? I would assume that these boats must float for at least a certain amount of time?

No fuel problems if you just float. Bugger that, I'm burning fuel this season.

I was told by Four Winns via an email reply that my 200 would float just below the surface. I've added foam block under the floor over the fuel tank and am thinking of ways to add floation under the gunnels. Having had a Boston Whaler for years "unsinkable" is something I've got used to. The danger is "unsinkable" does not mean "uncapziable".
