Well fellas, I went and hooked up to the boat for the weekend and decided to take a peek inside and noticed all these little pieces of glass.. My butt puckered... lol I knew it wasn't gonna be good. sure enough , my drivers side front windshield was busted out. Not really sure how, i didn't see any marks on the cover and no holes or debris inside the boat. Wasn't sure if the heat with all the pop up hard showers we had last week could be the culprit? Any way lucky for me they still make this glass, however its pricey as hell. As in $1125.00 just for the glass pricey.. lucky my insurance is covering it. I have a low deductible. Anyone else had this issue..

If that one fit thats great deal. I replaced two pieces of glass on mine over the years that I was able to get from Water Bonnet. Left side front windshield and center windshield. Each piece was about $100 and I was able to do it myself. This is why I'm not a fan of the modern fancy curved windshields. They cost a fortune to replace when you can even find the part....

I'm going to call the marina and have them do a parts check and see if they are compatible.. That my friend would be a great deal and easy to install. Thanks .

Wow, even if my insurance covered it that would make me sick too :-)

I think most my insurances are $500 deductible no matter what :-(

That's a lucky thing that you ins covered it; it's shocking how much that curved glass costs. Lucky you can still get it....

My boat has what they called the bent glass windshield. The port, center and starboard glass are tempered glass that has to bend just slightly to fit in the frame; the side glass is totally flat. So it would not be that hard to get a shop to make a new piece. With this style you could even use lexan or plexiglass.
Interestingly some of the recent Cobalts went back to the old style flat glass.
