Wouldn't you just remove the cup holder pocket to get to those screws?

I wish it was that easy. You have to take the backrest off before the pocket can come out as the backrest covers everything except the bottom two screws.

Also, has anyone had trouble with their bow wind screen door (not the glass) being too wide? Mine wont shut as it seems to be too wide, if I try to force it flat it just pops out the other direction. I guess if I really need to I can run it through my table saw to take a bit of length off a panel.

The two SST brackets (that you have folded downward in the picture) are meant to clip over the top of each pair of panels to keep them in a straight line.

Question.. what are the two metal bars shown in the photo of the seatback area? ... I also can not find a stern light in the boat anywhere. Is there a special place that would be hidden, if not are they pretty universal?

Most of you have seen my other post from before I bought the boat but I figured I would start a new thread now that I've actually bought the boat. I grew up with my parents always having a bass boat but this is the first boat I have actually owned. I'm really looking forward to spending a lot of time at the lake with my wife, daughter and our friends. Here it is the day I picked it up:

She is in really good shape, just needs some minor cosmetic stuff here and there. First project was to remove the starboard backrest. There was a couple of small rips in the top section and figured it would be pretty inexpensive to fix. They use plenty of hardware to hold it on, that's for sure. Those two mounting points directly above the cup-holder pocket were near impossible to reach. I had to get completely inside of the storage area to reach them. Luckily I still a pretty slim guy At one point I thought I might have to lay in there until my wife go home and could pull me out. I'll keep this thread updated with progress. I have a template kit for GatorStep that should be here any day now. We are going to be doing the swim platform and full interior of the boat in their faux teak look. I think with the navy blue boat it should look really nice.

Question.. what are the two metal bars shown in the photo of the seatback area? They are held in rubber mounts to a panel under the sat cushion. When I first saw them I thought they were stern light extensions but they have no electrical contact points that I can tell. I also can not find a stern light in the boat anywhere. Is there a special place that would be hidden, if not are they pretty universal?

You might need to trim it, because the two sides of the hull can get a little closer together over time (due to materials under the floor getting compressed over time). Ah, I didn't even realize those tabs moved, good to know. That photo of the door is not mine, fyi. That one seems to open correctly. Trimming should be easy, thanks.

the back door on my vista had a similar bifold setup and was always to tight untill i trimed the door stop

those metal bars my be support rods for filler cushions or rods to hpld up a boat cover

That folding wind screen is actually one of my favorite features on the boat. Since we're often out in the evening and into the night, it's amazing how much more comfortable the cockpit is when that screen is closed.

If so, they're pretty much cosmetic (fine to use as grab bars but I'm not sure why anyone would need them). It's probably obvious but don't use them as tie points for water sports. The boat came with a pair of rubber clips to hold the stern light, down in the main floor locker, along the port side. If the light isn't there, it's probably gone. It's a standard light, but note that it's very tall on this model in order to be seen in all directions.
