First of all I'll introduce myself as this is my first post...

We just bought a 1999 Four Winns Horizon 180 BR with a 130 Johnson. The boat was a total mess when we bought it but with a few (many actually) hours of chemical sprays, buffing compounds and elbow grease, it's looking almost brand new now. I don't know how anyone could let a boat get that bad but it meant a deal for me I guess.

The bottom was so bad I started to wonder if I'd made a mistake in buying it. I took it to our local Marina to service the motor and they suggested I use "On and Off" for the bottom. I'm always a little skeptical about products being touted as the best but OMG I could not believe how well that stuff worked. I sprayed it on, waited a few minutes and rinse it off. That simple. Followed up by a tub of Buff Magic and we're on the water.

I have a question about the fuel gauge but will post that in its own thread

Funny you should mention that. As we were just about done, I turned to my wife and said " we really should have taken before pictures, because no one would believe the state this was in" I'm so mad we didn't think of it.
