Post subject: | H200 Windshield Problem |
Hi, Whilst out today I managed to hit a wave wrong and the force has pushed the screen out of the bottom seal and now the opening window don't line up either. Has anyone managed to do this an how do I go about resetting the window back in the lower rubber seal. The curved screen has not cracked or broken. Is it much of a job or should I leave it to the professionals. Thanks Ray |

I haven't dealt with that, but I'd caution against towing it in that condition to minimize the chances of cracking a piece of curved glass that isn't supported properly. |

How about posting a pic so we can see what the frame looks like, on the older boats its possible to remove a few screws and loosen part of the frame to adjust the position of the glass... |

Thanks for the help. I did tow it 14 miles very gently, had a good look at it then called my regular marina Olsen. got it in and back the same day Can't complain at $108. I could have easily cracked it as the complete frame had to be removed then reseal the rubber and reassemble the frame and install. 2008 curved screen with walk through window attatched. I was lucky. Thanks everyone Ray |
