Hi, I'm looking to replace the gauges on my 2000 Horizon 240. Built in 1999 so it may have a 1999 Guage package...I've had others tell me they didn't make a H240 in 2000. Tried searching the forum for a duplicate posting but nothing came about. I'd also like to purchase a bow fill-in cushion. Any suggestions? I would love to find these: https://youtu.be/MKv_axZ5gV0 |

Finally, another 2000 Horizon 240 same as 1999 model. ![]() I too have a 2000 Horizon 240 that is documented and Hull ID number showing 2000, but same as 1996-1999 models. Later in year 2000 they came out with the Horizon 230 which is sometimes called Horizon 230/240 because in later years they call the same boat the 240. When you order a boat cover or other accessories (like your gage set or the bow fill in cussions), you just need to ask for a 1999. My VDO gages are still working fine, but my understanding is that you CAN get that replacement gage set for around $650 or more including the molded wood-look panel. Definitely a very nice OEM look. I don't remember the source, but I'm sure someone else will chime in. Ray |

Right there in the comments section is your answer - it's provided by A&A Marine. Read this thread from 2 years ago, post #3. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13348 Call Dave at A&A Marine, and he'll build one for you. As I recall, the price was ~$525 two years ago. Best part about it is that the gauges are compatible with existing senders, so it's literally a plug-and-play; all you need to do is pull the old one out. |
