Camrox, did you ever check to see if you could fit your Helix 5 where the cubby is, like in the pictures above with the lowrance? I know the Humminbirds are quite a bit wider than the Lowrances.

No, I didn't even check if it fit, I wanted to keep that open. Plus having the gps on top seemed better to me.

Which boat do you have this mounted on? I've got a 96' 200 Horizon, and thinking about the Garmin 73SV, which is 9.8"x5.5"x2". My boat's still shrink wrapped, but thinking I may get the unit while it's on sale ($449 at Bass Pro). I've got my old Eagle mounted one a removable mount in the cuddy-way to the bow, but think I'd like it up on the dash like you have - just not sure if I'll have the room. Anyone have any suggestions?

This is mounted on a 2008 h210, not sure how similar it is to yours...

Thanks for the info. From what I can see, the console is similar. Guess I'll have to just get the unit and see what I can do.
