Greetings. Newbie here.
My 2014 Bimini I am trying to remove the bimini. The connection to the boat from the Bimini has a latch type I am unfamiliar with. The Bimini main rod that generally stays connected always unless removal, has a ball that slips into a reciever that has a spring loaded rod that has a rounded cut-away. How does this operate for removal.

Thanks,
Scott

post a picture maybe?? hard to tell what you've got. My FW bimini has some ball joints that are held in by clevis pins (the spring loaded type). you have to remove the pin first then slide the ball out of the receiver

Usually there is a little latch button that is spring loaded that should move to release the ball out of the socket. That is how mine is.
