As you all may have read from other posts I have made, I purchased a 2008 Red Four Winns 220 Horizon in February and I am so excited about it. It is currently under construction, and I don't anticipate I will take possession of it until sometime in April. Anyhow, I want your honest opinions on the graphic color that picked to go with it. I chose the classic color band and picked the wide red accent stripe to run along the the bottom of it. I think that will look great, but I am a little worried about the ocean blue graphic that I chose. I love bright colors, so it was that or the yellow. What do you all think? Will that look okay, or should I have picked another graphic color? Thanks guys!

Well, this is completely subjective, and the only thing that matters is what YOU think of it!

My opinion is that it'll look great, and a little different from what most people go with - which to me is a good thing.

Will you store it indoors or out? Be aware that red will fade faster than most colors, so be fastidious about keeping it waxed with a good UV blocking wax (which needs to be done anyway, regardless of color), and if storing it outdoors consider ways to keep it covered even on the sides.

Thanks, Mike. I appreciate your opinion. To answer your question, I will store it inside. I rented a boat storage unit about half-way between my house and the lake.

Hey Bigblue
I am planning to buy a H180 in the red also, but with the titanium graphic.
IMHO the red always looks stunning but as Mike said what you think is what counts.
Henry Ford said,"You can have a model T Ford in any color you like so long as it's black"
Needless to say Ford offer their cars in a few other colors other than black these days!!!
All the best with your new boat
Ardy
PS Everyone knows red boats go faster!!!????

Hey BigBlue! +1 to what Mike has said... it'll be a great combo - and it's what YOU think that matters.

The UV protectant is going to be huge... That red will look awesome!

Also remember - the worst case scenario if you hate it is that it is just a graphic... It can be peeled off like a sticker with a heat gun! No big deal!

I like any color scheme.... as long as it's an SS one in either Black or Red. 8)
