Is it true there isn't anywhere on board to stow away the bimini top? I don't like how I have to leave it folded back exposed to the elements when not in use. Anyone find a way to stow it away under the weather covers? I think our last boat, 95 Horizon 190, you could store it behind the engine.

It's true...it should have a sleeve zip up cover to protect it when rolled up. You can pull the pins at the base mounts and see if you can lay it on the deck and then cover but that's a pain I'm sure.

I have to lower the thumb buster poles to deploy mine then raise them once opened to get it to clear the tower. It's a pita but a must have accessory to keep from melting.

Yeah, it has the zippered pouch to store the top in. Looks like that'll have to work for now.

Our bimini just lays flat across the top of the transom in front of the OB. No where else to put it.

BTW, we were also looking specifically for an open bow with an outboard. Took us almost 8 months to find ours. Plus it was a 12-hour round trip excursion to go get it!

Sweet boat. I wanted a H180OB with the fish&ski package but couldn't find one anywhere. There were new ones but well out of my price range.

I think mine also lays flat. I actually tested out this cheap wal-mart trailering cover yesterday and it worked really well at highway speeds. No flapping or anything. I like it because this way I can just keep the bow and cockpit covers stored away, and it saves time covering/uncovering the boat while still keeping everything protected.

If you pull the rear seat forward, you can lay the top down and have it fit under the trailering cover.

Not the cleanest setup, but at least its hidden and out of the elements.
