| Post subject: | Adding additional snaps for carpet |
Every time I trailer the boat out to the lake, the snap in carpet comes unsnapped. It's catching air on both the port and starboard sides along the footrests (area circled in red below). I'd like to add a couple more snaps on each side to prevent this. Is there a snap kit anyone can recommend? Do I just run the screws into the fiberglass and tighten them up? I don't want them ripping out, as it's obviously a high stress area.

Oh, I hadn't even considered that. Do you have a link to the ones you used? |
