Well the last boat was bought as a pre-order that was inbound, so we just took what was pre-ordered: Red + Silver/platinum 5.0 GXI/SX Sunsport seating Bow scuff plate Cockpit and forward cover bow filler cushion Now that we have the chance to order: Navy + Silver/Summer yellow (although i would choose yellow - I am overruled) 5.0 GXi/SX Sunsport seating Bow scuff plate Cockpit and forward cover Aluminum wheels Trailering cover So basically changing color from red to blue, removing bow filler cushion and aluminum wheels and trailering cover. Thoughts on the changes? - I figure the bow filler is unlikely to be used. - I think the cover is expensive, but seems nicer then anything else i have seen. - Wheels, are really fluff but they look nice, and i justify they are half paid for by bow filler removal. |

+1, I think you did well. In my experience you're correct about the bow filler, and if you aren't using it it takes up a lot of storage space. Besides, it's insane what they charge for it. Nave/silver/yellow is a good thing, but I'm a little biased ![]() The wheels are a worthwhile upgrade IMO. Congratulations! It'll be interesting to find out what your build date is. |

The changes you made are excellent. Especially Color!... If you still have a chance, I would recommend for a swim platform mat.. It is removable, easy to clean and non skid. You would love it especially if you are planning to water ski or wake boarding a lot. |

Also biased, but I love your color choice. I actually think you should re-think the filler cushions. If you have any sunbathers (or if they have friends who are who will be coming with you) then it is a big hit. You can leave it in place most of the time since those sunbathers don't really do a lot of moving around or anything anyway. Just MHO. The cockpit covers are a very good call as well. I use mine frequently and don't know what I'd do without them. The dock I rent for Saturday nights (I'm otherwise a trailer boater) is not covered, so when I cover it I don't have to deal with a wet interior on early Sunday morning when it is time to hit the glass for some wakeboarding. Knowing that I have a reliable cover in place for that (or an overnight storm) is a very nice feature. |

Good choice on the filler cusion. Lot of money to spend to leave it out all the time anyway. Spare tire? +1 on the swim platform mat (if you ski/wakeboard) |

Gotta disagree on the platform mat. My brother got it on his 220H. We both ski and wakeboard and he doesn't like his very much. It is VERY HOT in the summer time with the sun beating on it. It gets to the point where you don't want to be on the platform because of the heat, which directly works against the point of having it. I don't have one, and my platform still looks just as good as it did on delivery date. Then again, anyone who bangs a ski or wakeboard on my fiberglass gets thrown overboard and left for dead. ![]() |

Final Order as submitted: Build Date April 16, Delivery date: Before End of April. Navy + Silver/Summer yellow (although i would choose yellow - I am overruled.) 5.0 GXi/SX - 270 Hp - (Overrulled on anything more - otherwise i would have a yellow SS) Sunsport seating Bow scuff plate Cockpit and forward cover Aluminum wheels - Spare tire, i will just buy a std galvanized spare on the cheap - trailer cover i removed, at first i thought great idea, but I can see that between any dust and the strapped down cover that some real wear would occur. - bow filler; with sunsport and folding rear seat, i figure there is enough sunpad space, plus i figure it would be in the way alot more then in use. |

That's going to look sharp, nice choices. I'll look around and find the place where I purchased my spare and PM the info, they were the most reasonable that I found. I agree with the bow filler pad, it just seems like something extra to store. Sounds like you have just over a month to wait, not too bad. Should be just in time for the ice to have cleared. |

By getting it the end of next month, I much prefer that the boat wont be dragged through a bunch of salty road debris. robbo3 wrote: Sounds like you have just over a month to wait, not too bad. Should be just in time for the ice to have cleared. I hope the ice/snow is all gone, but I remember back in the late 80s/early 90s we had a snow storm in MAY - Yikes. |

Not too bad, but let's try this... Navy + Silver/Summer yellow (although i would choose yellow - I am overruled)... scratch that and make it the SS package in Black. 5.0 GXi/SX.... Change this for the Merc 6.2L Bravo1... it goes better with the Black and you're wife will LOVE IT! Sunsport seating... +1 Bow scuff plate... +1 Cockpit and forward cover.... +2 Aluminum wheels... +4, plus spare ($25 for the mount anywhere and $167.30 for the tire/wheel through iBoats.com delivered, I just put mine on) Trailering cover... +++ That should about do it! Seriously... I'm glad this ordeal is working out the way it should be. |

Wait... your wife wants the bow filler so she can lay out, right in front of you... and you're complaining? |

I want to have one like that made for our 268 Vista swim platform. Nice stuff. |
