I bought one of those last season after a neighbor had about 10G stolen from his fishing boat (back when gas was less than $2.75 a gallon. Isolated incident for sure, but with gas likely to hit above $4 a gallon this summer... The neighbor has one of those metal tanks commonly used with outboards, down low in his fishing boat. I figure with mine up high on the lift, it'd be a lot easier to siphon gas out. The locks are a bit of a pain to remove and reinstall, but enough of a deterent to have would be thieves move on to the next boat. Because of the awkward install/ removal, I take it out in advance if I'm out cruising and expect to fuel up at a marina.
