Over the last year (and more for some) - the forum has acquired some new faces who have a particular attachment (aka have purchased a boat) from Winnisquam Marine.

I'd just like to take a quick roll call to get some sort of accurrate count.

Anyone who's worked with Ryan, Ed, or the rest of the guys - has probably been extremely pleased with the level of service and quality of the shop... And there's even the Canadian's who fight to get down to see those guys to trailer their new toys home.

It'd be interesting to know just how many of us (Ifourwinns friends) have an association with these guys.

Chime in! Let's hear what kind of boat you have... colors/options/year... where are you from? and how did you find those guys?

I'll even start...

I found the Winnisquam guys online when I was looking at special ordering a 2008 model last July... I live in Seattle and flew out to New Hampshire to take delivery of my H240 in late October of '07. Had the boat shipped back to Seattle. My claim to fame as I'm their most distant N. American continent customer I think... over 3000 miles.

Here's the boat when I took delivery:

cougarcruiser,
Here is the boat i purchased from Winnisquam. Ed and Ryan were great to deal with made my 1st boat purchase extremely easy and they got me into the perfect boat. I use their ramp a lot and everyone that works at Winn is extremely nice & helpfull. Plus they did a great job installing my waketower. hopefully i will be up there soon.
Matt

Damn CC, that Black and Sand is a timeless combo. Doesn't hurt that its on a 240 either. I found Winnisquam after checking every FW dealer in Eastern Canada and the North Eastern US. I put my request out to bid and narrowed that list down to a couple of dealers with prices I felt reflected the current market mostly because I was dissapointed with my local dealers $500 off MSRP boat show rebate for an H200 and aftermarket trailer - For Real.
Some dealers I found knew little about thier product, played pitifull sales tactics or I just found arrogant or condescending.
Ryan is my consultant at WM - and was in the top 2 for best pricing in NE US & E Canada without even negotiating! He managed to swing another factory rebate with a Boat Show and came out best price as well as shortest travel of the finalists.
Awesome guy; knows his product inside and out and steered me away from a couple of options that were money better spent elsewhere. This guy even managed to swing some custom exrtas with the factory that weren't offered or even a deal breaker for me - but I said I liked them.
No pressure, no Bn11$h!t, great advice, best price and it will be awesome to see NH to pick it up. No sales tax and outlet stores for the Admiral? Kind of a no brainer. :D

Got a build date of April 8th so I suspect I will get to go the first week of May.
Mine will be a Black with Red CCB 210 & 5.7 Volvo
Ordered everything except the Stereo Upgrade, Table, Fish/Flag Holders and Gatorhide I think.

Coming to the WM webcam soon - ME and a Huge Smile! Hey H180 - that must be your stylin Red 220 out front?

Hey my200winns mine should look a lot like yours. Nice one.

We were getting ready to buy from another local dealer in 2006. We were heading through on the way to Weirs Beach one weekend when we stopped in. We talked to Matt and he showed us a 2001 Horizon 210 that we ended up buying. It had the walk through transom with wrap around seating that I wanted but wasn't on the 2003 200 we were looking at elsewhere. I negotiated a swim platform at cost and installed it myself. We love those guys!
Just browsing their showroom they have tons more stuff than my local dealer, who BTW didn't seem to be in any hurry to sell me a boat.

I did not buy from them, but have stopped in there several times on the way to my boat that is docked in the Weirs Beah Channel. There parts and Service department is A+++++
I'm planning on adding a Extended Swim Platform next year.
Has anyone installed one, shall I attack this myself? or let them do it?

Install it yourself. I think I know a guy that has access to some tools!

I'm sure it's not rocket science.

Hey - you have a galvanized trailer. Lucky, I wanted galvanized but not with the gatorhide so I went with just painted. Will probably regret it in a couple years but by then maybe I will have money again to buy an aluminum I beam.

Post subject:  Re: Winnisquam Marine roll call...

I used to work as a mechanic / auto stripper (stripping cars, not me on a pole - I wouldn't make enough to survive). Up here in the north I have seen far too many cars come in with no floors because the salt used on the roads and in the air would dry up the rustproofing and it would crack. Then moisture would get in behind it and accelerate the corrosion process because it would never dry out.
For several years they tried it and found that cars treated with the stuff lost thier floors faster than those without. They have since stopped using those types of treatment except for bedliners but I have been noticing similar results.
Aside from that, I just can't get past the looks of it. The painted trailer looks sooo custom (at least for the first couple of years). I would have loved to have galvanized (especially if they could find a paint that would stick) but I had to settle for painted steel. I will replace with aluminum in a few years if I don't upgrade. Maybe then polished he he he . . . 8)

and to think I was envious of all you guys with the custom painted trailer...I was going to sell this trailer and get a painted one. I think you changed my mind. Not to mention, I use the traile 3 times a year. Pull boat to lake, take boat out of lake, store for off season.

Thanks for saving me some coin!
