The cockpit carpet unsnaps and nearly flies out above 60 mph. I have to wrap it up and stow it when towing the boat. I've considered leaving the covers on while trailering, but don't want that hassle at the boat ramp. Anyone else? Do you have a fix? |

Yep I had the dealer add snaps under warranty. Added 2 around the locker cut out, two on the edge where you put your feet, and 2 in front of the bench seat. |

I've run into that as well. Either adding snaps, or I may just put some stuff in the area, ie cooler, boards, small children.... what ever I'm taking to the lake that day. For now, just using the snap-on covers until I find a solution I'm happy with. On another note, yesterday I actually got my boat in the water for the first time!

I got one of the Four Winns towable covers. Ratcheting mechanisim on the back sinches the cover down tight. No issues with carpeting blowing out over 60 mph. I understand about getting ready at home and not on the launch ramp. +1 for that. |

My solution is to tow with the covers on. It only takes a minute to take them off and I like knowing the boat didn't get bird crap, dirt, and cigarette butts in it going down the road. |

I spoke to the dealer yesterday, they are willing to install several more snaps at no cost to me. Thumbs up to Bayer Marine in Tulsa! |
