Kansas City - where it normally is in the 70's every day by now. This just blows.

Yeah that sucks.....hear in the Seattle area, it's been very cold and wet....but it's starting to warm up. Today was the first nice day in a while. It's expected to be high 60's - low 70 tomorrow....

We've been hearing "one more week of cold and then it's going to be nice" for 6 weeks now. Most of us are now in "I'll believe it when I see it" mode. We did have our first round of severe t'storms yesterday, which is a sure sign of spring in Kansas. So hopefully it's turning around, but this is just weird.

Those pic's look GREAT. I am envious.

I'm with Mike in KC. This cold sux! Last weekend I got all those mods done, and loaded all my stuff into the boat so it's ready to go. I even ran the engine on the muffs checking the fluids, and looking for anything abnormal. Yes, I did everything short of actually putting it in the water! In the Navy, we called this a fast cruise. This is what kissing your sister must be like! I've been staring at this NEW BOAT for 6 months.... It's killing me!

Walt...I feel your pain dude!!! Not to make light of your weather dilema, but your comments had me cracking up!!! The kissing your sister part was hilarious and a very good analogy. I'm a former Marine, but spent several years working with the Navy and did a few "fast cruises" myself...

Hang in there, It'll clear up soon....

Be happy, we had only one day in the 60's this month. It snowed some last night.

We have bright sun, but 47 degrees. Still to cold to be on the water. I did pick up my Thompson yesterday in the rain. I wanted to get it home so I can clean it up and sell it. For some reason the admiral doesn't think we need two boats....

Riverside, California in the low 90's today. Took a trip to Lake Perris for a couple of hot laps. Up at the crack of dawn. Summer has arrived!

More awesome pics! Looks like a real nice boat you have there.

Question for you - what size/brand fenders are you using? Do the non-ridged fenders work better than ones with the ridges? We bought 3 Taylor-Made ones from Wally World and I'm thinking I want bigger ones. The docks at the ramp we use are in poor shape.

Hey Houston...I'm not certain what kind, or size I have....I never really paid that much attention to them I guess. I do know that I bought some larger ones than the ones I received when I bought my boat....and they are "ribbed" I guess....I got the larger fenders for the same reason...better protection on the docks....large enough to protect well, yet small enough to fit six through out the boat along with the lines, toys etc....

I notice that you list San Antonio as your home town....that's where I'm from originally!!! How is Canyon Lake these days?? And Besides Canyon Lake, do you take your boat to any other lakes in your area, and do you ever take it out to the gulf coast??

 I have had great results with the following fenders:

They are great on my Horizon 200 SS 8)

Would you happen to be a TEXAS AGGIE :?: :?: :?:
