Here is a short little session we filmed the other day. My riding was terrible. Wake was an ok size only 2 ppl in the boat with the ballast half filled( thought we were gonna have more people)

Thanks guys. I was just riding a little sketchy. All my tricks were kinda small and not as smooth as usual. But it shows you dont need a tounament ski boat to throw some nice tricks and have a solid wake.

Nice Job!!! That is pretty cool to watch. I might have to try getting back on some skis or one of those boards! It looks like quite a workout and my office job a** could use some working out.

I'm assuming you were riding behind your FW? If so, you're right. That is a decent wake for half-ballast and only 2 peeps. I'll have to get some pics or a video of my wake on here sometime this summer. Maybe a few crashes for everyone's entertainment value as well.

Yep, I recognized the XTP tower.

Good to see some fellow boarders starting to populate over here. I'm so tired of being questioned about the boat I bought on some of the boarding sites I'm on. I wanted a boat that I could enjoy a long ride down the lake in without having bruised kidneys, and you can't get that out of a wake-specific boat. Plus, I actually ran around at 20MPH and played with the trim a bit when I demo'ed it to make sure the hull would throw a decent wake. While I'm not getting MC or Air Nautique wake, I'm not ashamed of the wake mine can throw either.

Exactly. Plus, no fear of taking a ride when there are whitecaps present!

I'm not a huge fan of a sterndrive because I cant back one up, but I will say most sterns with ballast tank ride better in chop then an I/O. Fill that belly tank and it cuts the chop better then my I/O.

Im confused stern drives are i/o correct? I thought inboards were either direct or v? Yea its always fun trying to back up with wind and current only goign one direction in reverse. I diddnt go inboard for that and the presence of many sandbars around here. This is my first big boat and diddnt want to be killing shafts and props on the regular.

You are correct I should have said inboards. Thinking one thing typing another.
