We are coming up on our 20 hour service... From reading this forum, I'm a little concerned.... $294??? That is ridiculous!

I talked to Phil Dill this am about bringing the boat in this weekend, and was told they are at least 3-4 wks out, and won't be taking anymore boats in right now. They said to try after Labor day, and that it was ok to go past 20 hours. In fact, they said that you can go up to 50 hours, and would still be ok.

Phil Dill seems to be inundated with drive repairs. The lakes are so far down that people are damaging their drives... not hard to believe..

Just got my 20hr done at 34 hours, the dealer did not have an issue whatsoever about the hours. Talked to a Merc mechanic "after he had a few beers" Claims the 20 hour is overkill, but will be handy to have on file later if you have warranty issues. 20hr Service here was $309 CDN,
